After a terrible migraine recently, I have started to wonder about a connection to AuDHD, and here you are prodding that into a deep dive !!! As if I didn’t have enough to read already ! 🤣🤣🤣.

But seriously, thank you 🙏 a part 2 would be much appreciated.

I'm on it! And also, solidarity on the migraine front- mine come with vertigo now, which is a real hoot.

Migraines and ADHD can often be co-morbid because they can be triggered by low dopamine levels

Connecting the dots of my illnesses to autism is what led me to getting assessed at 54.

That is fascinating- I didn't even think about the potential physical implications until after my diagnosis at 40. Then I started researching and yet another aspect of my life finally made sense!

I’ve lived with headaches/migraines for as long as I can remember. Long enough for the adults in my life to say…oh you’re too young to have those. 🫣

Definitely something I am constantly researching as well!

Great read!

Omg! Fantastic article! Never realized how physical autism can be … with each new condition mentioned, I was shocked … 4 times, one

for each physiological condition mentioned … now I need to go lie down and think about this for a while … mind blown 🤯

I had absolutely no idea either. And there's so much I didn't even mention, like mast cell activation syndrome and immune dysregulation. Maybe I should write a part 2 at some point...?

A ‘part 2’ would definitely be welcomed :) thank you for this first essay ❤️❤️ everything wonky about my body is explained in one essay… feels like I finally found some understanding of my body ❤️

It's on the list then. These types of realizations are exactly my motivation for writing here- I want to spread the validation far and wide, now that I've seen the difference that just simply knowing myself has made for me.

Great article, summarizing and raising awareness of these conditions. I myself have struggled with migraines, chronic fatigue, and PMDD, and I have loved ones who suffer or have suffered from the others. And so much sympathy to you for what you’ve been through!!

Thank you so much! My entire maternal family has the same group of "weird" health issues. Who's going to tell them?! 😂
